After my Izzet-featherquill I was eager to sculpt more dragons and this contest finally gave me the kick in the butt I needed to realise this old vision of mine - A wooden forestdragon:love:
I hope I get more time for sculpts like this, it was so much fun:happybounce:

He is sculpted completely by hand from polymerclay. After baking I painted him with Citadel-Colors.
His eye is a real green sapphire.

The wood/forest sculpting technique is inspired by the fantastic works from :iconkrinna: - go love her!:dalove:
