Description

Honestly, I've never really liked The Phantom. My first exposure to the character was that abysmal Billy Zane movie from the 90's. I loved the designs from Phantom 2040 (which were done by the ever-amazing Peter Chung), but I didn't much care for the show itself. It always kinda bothered me that the character was supposed to have so much history behind him, but he was always strutting around in that goofy purple leotard. So in this rendition, I tried to incorporate a look that suggests that historical component to the character. I had to keep the Robin mask, though, since The Phantom was actually the first superhero to wear one.
