Hello everyone! Hope you're doing well!

This piece was a part of my graduating BFA gallery show collection.
It's sad, but due to everything going on, the physical show in my school's gallery was cancelled.

For this show, my pieces were talking about pride in oneself as a black woman in an age where we're often excluded or forgotten.
In many forms of entertainment, if we're included, it's often one note side characters. I wanted to explore putting these characters up front and showing that there's lots of possibilities for heros and protagonists.

I hope to go into the entertainment art field, and decided to mix my studies by having my pieces feature both my digital and traditional paintings.

Sadly, our graduation ceremony has also been cancelled, so there's a lot of adjusting to do as the semester and my time at university ends.
It's been a great time, and I've learned a lot!
