Commission for Nightovizard

The M850A Grizzly is an armored mobile weapons platform in service with the United Nations Space Command. It was developed by Chalybs Defense Solutions, the manufacturer of the older and more common M808 Scorpion. This modified variant of the Grizzly is protected by thick armor plating which allows it to survive even the fiercest attacks and features a M310 120mm Smooth-Bore High-Velocity Cannon and a Twin M230 50mm Autocannon. This weaponry allows for greater versatility and firerate, and makes it a far better platform for urban combat. A co-axially mounted M247T Medium Machine Gun gives it antipersonnel protection, and smoke grenades are mounted on the turret. This variant of the Grizzly also features an extra seat for a commander who can control an unmanned M41 LAAG and a rocket pod that can load diverse types of rockets. Due to the Human-covenant war the production of this vehicle was limited and it was not until the post-war that the insurrection situation forced its widespread use across the colonies.
