I know this group has been kinda neglected over the last years. But this spring, I saw a lot of collaborations going on among me as well as other artists who do genie art and stories or have genie characters. I found these collabs very inspirational and they have already lead to the creation of several artworks, mostly by @confis816, @manymasksmanyfaces, @LordGianmarco and myself. I have the idea to focus these effords in this group by hosting a 2024 genie festival, in which group members can post genie-related artwork, that they made for other artist or used the genie OCs by other artists for. These artworks can be in any form, be it pictures, comics, stories etc. Maybe we can somewhat revive this group, forming new friendships and creat new pieces of art. I've opened a new folder, where all of these collab pictures will be collected. GeniesBottle | DeviantArt I hope many of you support this idea. It's years since a journal was posted in this group. But recently, I had an interesting exchange of idea with ~AliciaDrawsBecause (https://www.deviantart.com/aliciadrawsbecause) about how members of dA see genies. Do you see genies simply as sexy girls in scant harem clothes that are bound to grant their masters wishes? Or do you see them as ancient beings, powerful and so much different from humans? Or do you see them in a completely different way? Please share you thought about how you see genies and what you enjoy about them with us. I hope that we can have a little discussion here.

Sorry we don't accept this. I don't see the genie content. There's the historical ottoman setting, but where are the genies?

You mean I must include genies? I thought this group accepts anything regarding Middle Eastern culture? *sigh*

Exactly. It's a group about genies. But feel free to add some art with a middle-eastern view on genies. I'd appreciate to see that point of view.
