Thursday Review: High Guardian Spice

Hey guys, it's Towers-of-Obscure, back again with another Thursday Review! Remember when animation companies actually learned their lesson? Neither did I. This recent Crunchyroll production is possibly the definition of "the impossible", at least for its time. If not for a small leak of this being brought up in early 2018, Crunchyroll might've been spared from unknowingly sparking one of the most infuriating controversies in the animation community! Was it the fact that LGBTQ writers in animation were merely assumed at the time, despite the fact Steven Universe showed perfect examples of it? Well, like I said it was only assumed... until She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was released on Netflix in November 2018. (And yes, I still stand by my fact that the She-Ra reboot was full of flaws that were easily corrected by the Carmen Sandiego reboot. But now, I think it's safe to say that I'd prefer the She-Ra reboot over Kevin Smith's Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Unlike this show
