Long story with this one. I found scans of the original fat Superman comic book and I was taken aback at how delightfully cheesy it was.
One thing I noticed, though, was how off the artist's perception of men of weight was. I know it was written in the 60s or whatever, but c'mon. Superman at FOUR THOUSAND pounds in that comic has got to be no more than like 600 or 700 pounds.
So, that got me daydreaming. I finally doodled up some stuff, but I couldn't finish it unless it was sort of in the style of that old comic. It got quite frustrating and I'm still not satisfied with how it turned out, but I've spent far too much time on this.
So much, in fact, that I even though up the entire story to go with this. I could write the entire comic book (it's quite wonderfully cheesy) if I had the time or energy. If you wanna know more about it, let me know.
