I love your idea here, that there are two sides of you that are tearing you apart inside. There's the depressed side, and there's the maniacal or dangerous side that looks like it's the strong side of you which looks happy but carries more injuries (as seen in the puppet). It's like you're balancing both while you cope with life. The details in this piece are just right, not overdone (no blood, the facial expressions are realistic, not exaggerated) so it has more appeal. Your digital painting is spot on, I especially love the hands and your shading too! Sketching the puppets is a nice touch as well.
