I never thought I'd find myself drawing Space Jam fan art, but I can't help but love that movie. I don't care if the producers made it with dollar signs spinning in their eyeballs, I still think it's a jolly romp with Jordan and the Looney Tunes. So here are my two favourite additions to the cast: the speedy red gremlin Nawt and the seductive spunky rabbit Lola. You gotta love Nawt for his squeaky voice, both in Nerdluck and Monstar form ("Watch the footwork! Can you believe it?"). You can't imagine how chuffed I was with the way Nawt turned out. I've been drawing Reploids for so long that I was afraid it had warped my sense of proportions, but I still managed to nail his design pretty close to his movie appearence on my first try. Lola could have been better, though. I still need more practice drawing anthro. (Watch this space.) The colouring is mostly paint-by-numbers that I finished in a day, but I was pleased to discover that the coloured lines suit the characters more than my MM fan art. Why is it that coloured lines only suit American cartoons and black lines only suit anime characters? o_O
