This is something I did really quickly just to get it off my chest and onto paper so to speak. I've always believed, especially with the newer games that have been released, that these two trust each other far more than they're willing to admit and are probably closer friends than any of the other companions that Sonic has with him. For Eggman that would be none at all. I've always wondered what would they do if the worst should happen and something more menacing that Eggman came into the light (such as Mephiles). I honestly believe that the good doctor wouldn't (couldn't) let the hedgehog die and would naturally come to his aid. In this particular situation, Sonic looses a leg and Ivo gives him a new one but unfortunately, Sonic doesn't know how to take it. A robotic one will never be the same as his real one and coming this close to not being able to run anymore would surely take its toll on the hedgehog speedster. As for Eggman's injuries, they were most likely a result of the confrontation with the same evil. Also, I like the idea of the red and black eyes being a trait within Robotniks to show they are angry, serious or insane, and I like the idea of it being stuck like that.

Again I would like to state that this was done quickly and maybe I will revisit it another time and put in a little more work.

I own nothing of the Sonic the hedgehog and any of the characters within the games and or otherwise. This is simply for fun.
