-Have you heard about "The Fable of the Porcupine"?

"It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines realizing the situation decided to group together. In this way they covered and protected themselves, but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions even though they gave off heat to each other.

After a while, they decided to distance themselves from each other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the earth."

As some learned to live with the little wounds that were caused by the close relationship with their companions, but they also benefited from the body heat that was generated. Some couldn't stand the pain and prefered to die alone, and maybe some others tried to look for heat somewhere else, with someone else...

Sometimes I'm shivering, but at least I'm not getting hurt, or hurting others. But still, there are wounds open... I wonder if they will heal before I freeze to death.

... I should stop thinking this and come back to reality...-
