Heres an album artwork I recently did for "The Icarus Kid", an electronic house remixer of NES music based in Seattle, WA.

The idea of the piece was to parody old video game enemies based on each track of the music, with The Icarus Kid character being in the foreground prepping to fight off the baddies. This piece spans both the front and back cover of the printed CD manual. The copyright and credit info goes in the void on the left.

You can see throwbacks to River City Ransom, Zelda, StarTropics, Mario, Wreckin' Crew, and a bunch more! I enjoy the look of classic video games, so I was happy to do a project like this.
