Because of the great curse, the line was drawn between the people of Storybrooke as to who they were and who they are. Crossing that line was dangerous however; but it caused enough dismay to stir ones inside and fight the war with not only time, but within. ******************************** It was a thunderous night; showers of rain streamed down the dirt path in between the enchanted forest. LiteratureSweet Dreams Sleeping Beauty: Chapter 17Fauna had made Phillip much more like a prince; he wore black and yellow, the colors of King Stephen's crest, in a long sleeved shirt with a black vest, a golden belt at the waist and black pants with comfortable hide shoes with a long red cape and a pointed red hat. He felt relieved of all the pain he had felt during the battle and much cleaner without all of the blood. The fairies were quite pleased; Flora summoned his horse and so Phillip climbed on and rode back to the castle. As he took off the fairies followed him. As he rode, he noticed the fairies were behind him cleaning up the mess around the castle. All of the ashes seemed to beSweet Dreams Sleeping Beauty

LiteratureThe Black Cauldron Chapter 11Goldie had flown for quite some time over the Forbidden forest. She flew past the mountains and trees, emerging from the fog into clear air. She slowly began descending downward toward the Lake of Secrets. The lake was in the heart of the forest, its green glistening hue could not be missed from up above. Taran was thrilled! They could finally place Nen-Wen in the Lake without worry of the Horned King ever harming them again. Slowly, Goldie descended to the ground, and popped her magic bubble, causing all of her passengers to stand on the ground. Once they were released, she returned to her true form as the little golden ball. “I can&rThe Black Cauldron-Revisited

LiteratureThe Poker Face Chapter 7I could hardly sleep that night; Hearing Mr. J’s voice in my head drove me nuts, but Batman’s kept interfering. It was like havin’ the crazy devil on one shoulder and a black angel on the other. I had to get to Mr. J, he needed me... but so did Batman. In fact, I felt a presence in the room when I was still somewhat waking up. I turned over and I gasped, pulling the sheets up to my neck. “Don’tcha know to knock before entering a lady’s boudoir B-man?” I grumbled. “I don’t have much time. I need to run. But I believe you have something to tell me.” he stated plainly. “YouThe Poker Face

LiteratureFilm Review: Disney's FrozenAs a birthday gift to myself, I decided to go and see Disney's "Frozen". You can only imagine my anticipation for this movie because A) I knew about the film from DA way back in June of this year and B) Disney kept the advertising very minimal until the last second to get everyone curious and hyped up for the film. So, I kept calm and kept an open mind when I entered the film considering I didn't know what to expect since Disney has had some trouble in the past couple of years, trying to live up to its "Renaissance" period that we all refer to (Little Mermaid, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, etc.). I want to make this very clear now to allDisney Movie Reviews

LiteratureFreedom SomedayPrologue My eyes flickered from another lonely and dreamless sleep. I could hear the bustling of people below, not knowing where they are really going. The trains shook the floor of my fifth floor apartment. I slowly sat on my bed and discovered the thin layer of fog wrap around the skyscrapers on this early morning. It is Thanksgiving today, but I am not celebrating. I have spent my years starved from food and dreams, so what's the meaning? Thanks and giving are words that rarely escape from the mouth when you have suffered and it pays you nothing, not a feeling of satisfaction or appreciation. Yet, I remain here in this paradox called NewFreedom Someday

LiteratureBorn of the Land and SeaCh. 12 Mother Sea Christina followed her mother for quite a long distance until they came to a darker part of the sea where not many creatures dwelled and echoes of shallow souls roared. Christina swam close to her mother's side and moved her eyes in all directions to avoid being spooked by unknown sea creatures. Lenia swam slower as they approached a circle crater full of sunken ships that had certainly had their day. Many of them were decayed and rotten, some maintained their shape, but had many holes in them. Christina was frozen, "So that's where all the lost ships remain" she thought.
