Beauty and the Beast TF Story The castle ballroom was alive with music and revelry. Wealthy guests from across the country as well as the good people of the local town talked, laughed, and danced with each other and with the castle staff and the ruling pair, Prince Adam and his lovely wife Belle. (Due to the decade of isolation from the outside world, Adam did not have the political clout to be crowned king once the curse was lifted, and such parties were thrown every so often with the partial intention of reestablishing such relations.) Cogsworth, the majordomo, greeted each arrival at the entrance, while the maître d' Lumière and the cook Mrs. Potts served the evening’s dining options.
