Russian Spetsnaz trooper, Major Brekhov dispatches an upyr (vampire) with his bayonet and a hatchet. Despite the many different myths, legends and stories concerning the various methods necessary to dispatch a vampire. Anatoly found that well-crafted Russian steel did the job just fine. In this case though, he did not escape unmarked.

The former Soviet government denied these events and there are no official records regarding the supernatural activities Major Anatoly Brekhov. There is only a Soviet Army medical file entry indicating that Major Brekhov was treated on 13 March 1969 for multiple lacerations to his face obtained in a training accident.
