I´ll start by saying that this show never caught my attention… until now. I was looking for updated information about Intersexuality and by chance I found this wonderful character named Stevonnie, from Steven Universe series. The creator officially said that this particular fusion has both genders (male and female) and I´m SO HAPPY to know that characters of this caliber* are already starting to appear in America, because many people still refuse to accept that they exist.

* Just between us: I wanted to be the pioneer in this field because I wanted to show my hermaphrodite / intersexual characters to the world (especially in this continent). But I´m glad to know that someone else was ahead of me with the idea, ha ha!!

_Steven Universe shows mature situations in a natural (normal) and fluid way; those taboo subjects that most confuse human beings (such as death, sexuality, real values, magic, etc.) are treated with such detail and care that even a child can understand and accept them. That´s why this program deserves not one, but several applauses for its story, music, content and endearing characters because it´s a fine master piece.
