I'd never heard of Trider-G7 so went looking for information.

LOVE the launch sequence, with overcomplicated "getting the pilot to the cockput" sequence that Gerry Anderson would be proud of, and parents scrambling to get their kids off the playground Trider-G7 launches from! That, and the ornamental fountain that replaces the giant robot head when he's out on a mission!!
