Minigun cyborg by gullmlis on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

A powerfully impressionate design; mixing various parts the heavy-duty biomechanical armoury as found in Oshii Mamoru's works (Ghost in the Shell, Jin-Roh) and Blame! manga. While I personally think the left arm integration of the minigun could have used some more work (It just feels like the weapon untouched is grafted in filling a missing part of the arm) it still creates a powerful package of power and ominous horror, one doesn't know if this is human-controlled real robot or if its self-aware cyborg.

The most amazing part is how you took all effort to draw in the details of anatomical parts and working systems; standouts are in the ball-&-socket joints, balanced placement of cords and mechanical apparatus, bulky yet round feel of overall body outline to give it a human-like flavour and creative minutiate like exposed rib-cage torso structure to largely spiked collar.

A question: Is the kanji meaning "fate" or "predetermination"?
