I really love the messy style of this, it gives the piece more character and it looks really nice. The shading is very nice but nothing inherently exceptional, though it's a very nice change from your more flat pieces of work. The hair doesn't look quite right but I really can't tell what exactly is wrong with it, it's just kind of off. Another thing to the hair is it should probably be a bit darker. I feel like the shading on the insides of the ears is far too dark especially considering the kind of lighting on this. I especially like the eyes, though I would of tried to make them stand out a bit with the rest of the character with a different color or something, then again with the color palette it has it'd be kinda hard unless the eyes were red. The color palette of red and monochrome colors is really nice and unlike most of the time the palette is used it's not very edgy. Finally the really messy window is a very nice touch. Honestly this is probably one of your better pieces of art especially with the nice change of pace from a more flat style of shading and coloring.
