Description

Akemi is an Areejan who works as a volunteer at the Khanat Cultural Centre of New York. She teaches visitors about the culture and traditions of the Khanats, an indigenous Areejan clan that has almost gone extinct. She met Na'eem one day when he visited the Cultural Centre to write a paper for his social studies class.
She is the youngest and most devoted volunteer at the Cultural Centre, as she cares very deeply for her culture. Akemi is talented in music and sometimes writes also writes poems.
