Description

"She was cast in silver glow, the moonlight a beacon to guide her way; he was moulded in the shadow where the light could not reach. She entertained a fleeting notion that he might not see her, but his gaze had been caught by the silent overhead flight of her elusive friend, and then travelled the empty space of the sky to land on her silhouette against the glow. Melinoe let her eyes trail and explore him as he moved, drinking in whatever the light would allow her to see and committing it to memory: as the image of a Kol, the long perceived but never seen enemy. It almost seemed like divine poetry that he would appear with the blanket of the night and be hooded in a coat as dark as his home of shadows, exactly what everyone expected the Kol to be. But his eyes were bright, and it was those she watched, her own muted and pale while his danced in the moon-glow."

An illustration to go along with this fun RP that Spirit and I did not too long ago -> fav.me/ddu4vq9

I tried some new techniques in this piece and hated them so quickly reverted back to old faithfuls HAHAHA. Will I ever be able to paint grass? The mystery continues.
