Description

Early in the morning on Whit Monday I found quite a few nice orchids, including this spider orchid. Ophrys fulcifera to the near friends.
A fine population of this species is in flower at the moment on the grounds of the Conservatoire des Sites Alsaciens, at Vollachermühl, near our house... This is a former limestone quarry, now a nature reserve.
