I love Red Pandas, they are so very cute. Usually pictures of them show the cuteness (quite offen with their tounges sticking out), but I wanted to show another side of them.

The determined look they have as they climb through the trees, the gracefull movements, their striking beauty.

This was drawn with coloured pencils on A2 black paper. I loved using the black paper as the fur of these pandas is black on their legs and the bottom of their boddies, so it worked well to fade into the blackness. It also makes the whites of this piece really stand out.
