Description

Anyone remember the dynamic between Patty and Pig-Pen in The Peanuts Movie? I feel like they are the least talked about when it comes to that movie. I thought their crushes on each other was pretty neat and cute in that movie. Kind of a shame that its looking like that dynamic isn't going to be done outside of that movie at the moment. But who knows? If a new special could happen after around 10 years of no news about it, and it centering around Lucy and her issues, maybe this rather obscure part of the movie can have a chance in the spotlight again.
I drew this heavily based on the strip from Feb 15, 1980 with Pig-Pen and the more popular Patty in the franchise, Peppermint Patty. Kind of surprised that strip didn't get adapted and modified in the movie. Would have been quite the "no brainer" of an idea.
Also, I saw the latest special For Auld Lang Syne, and it was a really fun and cute special. Like I mentioned earlier, its neat to see a special centered around Lucy and her issues. Plus Snoopy and his siblings were pretty fun in it too. And to make things better, Spike gets a bit more focused in the group and they don't steal the spotlight from the rest of the Peanuts cast for a change.
I've got some more drawing projects coming up. Hopefully I can do them while doing something specific in my personal life.
