Boxer looked at the seething mass of insects which surrounded him as they massed against the glass walls of their cages. They sensed he was there and they wanted to get to him...

"My dear," said the figure in the hazmat suit, "are you ready to take part in my experiment?"

Boxer glanced at the crate of critters which blocked his path. He raised an eyebrow at the figure.

"I thought so," the figure continued. "My greatest creation. These little beauties are the ultimate weapon. Resistant to pesticides, and they can strip the flesh off bones in the beat of a butterfly's wing."

"Lovely," said Boxer.

"Imagine! Countries will have to pay me to prevent the release of my tiny hordes. Want to invade a country? Pay me and I'll devastate your opponent's army. Want to stop an invasion of your country? You get the idea, I'm sure. Which leads me to you."

"I thought we'd get there in the end."

"I can't release you back into the wild, I'm afraid, and you have refused to come on board, so you will be the first victim of my creations. Well, apart from my nephew, but he was very annoying. So, as soon as I flick this switch, the box lid will open and then... well, I'm sure you've worked it out. Goodbye."

The figure held up the small control in their hand and pressed a button. In front of the young agent, the glass lid started to rise open. Boxer backed away as the creatures started to flow out of the box and head towards him, ready to reduce him to bare bones...
