Description

The latest in my Dragonbirds series. How can you resist Goldfinches? They're just so darn cheerful, fierce and bright! Where I walk along the river on my daily walks, they're everywhere in the spring. One of my favourite common birds. I really enjoyed the contrast of the bright yellow against the dark green. I've had the references for this pic since last summer. I took a lot of shots of thistles knowing I'd do this pic eventually. I will never need to take thistle references again:)
