Description

If you're planning on visiting the City of the Dead, the gondola rides are an absolute must for you and your partner. I'm told the forlorn wails of the lost souls in the water really enhance the mood, making for an unforgettable romantic experience.

So this is a remake of sorts of an older painting of mine. Check out the original from 2012 here: Goth Gondola I remember seeing someone on reddit or somewhere wisely saying that Hollywood shouldn't remake movies that were already great (Total Recall... Robocop... Ghostbusters...), but instead remake flawed movies that had a good premise. I guess that's what I was thinking with this. I'm pretty sure I wanted the original to be set in a Venice-like city as well, but I quickly dropped that idea as it was too difficult for me to pull off at the time. It's also fun to compare, hehe.
