The dwafdragon by Hera-of-Stockholm on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

"Elvis Excalibur from Beat 104.8 here, and I'm standing together with Rosie who have her dwarfdragon Wylbert with her. How old is this little being?"
"He's two"
"And how long have you been having him?"
"For 18 months."
"Why a dragon?"
"Because I'm allergic to everything fluffy and I always wanted a pet. And not some stupid turtle or fish. The dragons are intelligent and you can train them and teach them tricks. Then they are cool beings too."
"Can it spit fire?"
"Yeah but it's more like little sparkles with these small ones. You can have him light candles. Or cigarettes, although I don't smoke. But my boyfriend does." Rosie nodded to the young man by the parked electrocar.

"What's the best with dragons?"
"They're lovely, always up to something. And they are not picky, eat anything almost."
"Seems like it has taken a liking to my microphone. You think it does want to eat it?"
"No I rather think - he wants to mate" Rosie giggled.
"Thanks for participating, and do you want to go to a concert tonight. The 'Save the Dragons' fundraising concert?"

"Yeah, awesome!"
"Then I have two tickets here for you and your boyfriend..."
"Raphael. Stellar! You're fantastic, guys."
"Now who is giving you this?"
"Radio Beat 104.8, yay!"

"Thank you Rosie, and enjoy your evening. Now it seems that the dwarfdragons are becoming the new Chihuahua, at least among the Carthagean youths these days. Already back in the days of Jack Sparrow dwafdragons have been used as pets and fancy cigarette lighters, and even as today's young people hardly smoke as much as they once did, these dragons are really taking off. Its worse with the big ones, which I hope will get at least some help from tonight's concert. Back to you in the studio, Medusa!"
