Description

Here is the updated character reference for my interpretation of the Phantom of the Opera, the title character from the novel by Gaston Leroux.

Note: For this iteration of the classic character, I wanted to do something different, as when others do their own take of the Phantom, they either have him remain in the time period of the original book, the mid-19th century, or they try to do a more modern and contemporary take on the character. Well, I decided to instead go backwards and depict the character if he existed in the 18th century. His mask is made of metal and looks somewhat like a skull as a nod to his description in the novel. I also gave him a ski mask-like hood and a long coat with a high collar as another way to help better hide his face, as well as a wide brimmed hat. And since this is the 18th century, I just had to give him huge cuffs on his coat sleeves. I just feel with an outfit like this, Erik here have a better chance at fooling people into thinking he was a ghost.

EDIT: Changed up the mask a bit and made it metal.

EDIT 2: Tweaked up the mask's face.
