Kirk tells Alice #471 that he and his people are unhappy on this planet. Alice doesn't understand, "Please explain unhappy," she says. Spock then moves over and answers Alice, "Unhappiness is the state which occurs in the human when wants and desires are not fulfilled." "Which wants and desires of yours are unfulfilled?" she asks. Kirk then interjects, "We want the Enterprise." Uhura continues to watch this exchange from her seat on the couch with intense interest. At this point, Alice's number badge begins to beep and flash.
