The idea and sketch for this comic dates back to 2009, too. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to turn it into a real comic, which is why it took me so long to upload, but eventually I decided to go through with it. And I've even got a part 2 for it planned, so stay tuned xD
I think I got the idea while playing the game. You know how Midna always objects if you try to transform when there are people watching? Well I think I thought "what if she didn't? What would happen then?" and then I drew a comic about it. x3

I suppose Midna's getting tired of always being sensible here, and she thinks it doesn't matter if Link transforms when the people at the bar are watching because she thinks they are so boring anyway :XD:

This is my first comic in which "The Group" (or "The Resistance", which they are called according to Zeldapedia and which sounds much cooler) appear. It's nice to get a chance to draw them because I really like them ^^ And I've got plans for some of them to appear in a future comic, too! :3
I think Ashei is one of the most seriously under-appreciated characters from Twilight Princess. She's really cool, but she hardly ever gets fanart or anything. (Though who am I to talk, this is my first submitted deviation of her so far, too xD) Anyway, I used to plan to draw a picture focused on her and another underappreciated character, but that project is on hold for now. At least she's in the comic

And lol I want Shad's clothes. At least his jacket, his vest and his shoes, hehe. I think they're really nice. Though that collar makes him look a bit like a vampire xD

Also. I think it would be pretty traumatizing for Rusl to see Link, whom he has known since he was just a kid, transform into a wolf right in front of him like that. Which is why he passes out. If Link transformed in front of him, he wouldn't be all cool with it, he would be like "who are you and what have you done to Link, you monster??!! How dare you assume the shape of Link??" I think. He would think it was some kind of evil sorcery and not the real Link ...

I can almost say that The Resistance's reactions is my favourite part of this XD
Oh yeah. I also used a different art style for this one. And I think Imp Midna's helmet looks better here than in my latest Zelda comic ^^
