Description

So if I put Angelina into the AI as Sudanese it makes her look as though she is starving. If I put Sudanese American she gets more muscle tone. This implies that if you're in Africa you are automatically emaciated. Don't care much for that.

I've also noticed subtle (and not so subtle) racism and xenophobia in the AI, too. I feel like it may be mostly unintentional, but I think it probably reflects our long-held and hard to get rid of biases and prejudices.

Speaking of that, this reminded me of Shawshank Redemption when Andy asks Morgan Freeman's character Red why people call him that. He says, "Maybe it's because I'm Irish." 🙂
