The Inferno keeps a pride of these ferocious cats in their pens, but only the Guardian of Fire is allowed to utilize them as mounts. These Molten Sabres are borne out of the very volcanoes that surround the Inferno as well as the infernal magicks of the heretics and demons.

Out of all the Sabres in the pens, the Guardian of Fire will select one to go through an arduous journey with him, which will test both the endurance and the ferocity of the Molten Sabre. It is during this journey that they bond and the Sabre is then chosen to be the Guardian's Mount. If they do not bond, the Sabre is returned to the pens to be placed with the others, either waiting a macabre fate of being used as fodder for the demons, or to be used in battle.
