Some poor soldiers were ordered to capture Colossus as the lord hated him so much.

Little they knew how Colossus was like and how powerful he is. They made the unfortunate decision to treat him like the rest of peasants, with utter disrespect. Colossus pumps his huge muscles and taunts them all: "Come and get me!" ... "if you can".
