Baby, The Stars Shine Bright by Hopie-chan on DeviantArt (original) (raw)
Oh man. This entire photoshoot just made me extremely happy, I can't even tell you guys. And before anyone asks, the blue liquid was just water with blue food coloring. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to "drool" and try and look pretty while doing it. ^^
First off, photography and the set was done by , as usual. She came over the day before the shoot and we made about 50 cupcakes, which was super fun (and epic fail, at first, haha!) The set was fantastic, and totally sweet lolita feel! And as always, she did a phenominal job with the photography. This shot was the last thing we did, and was all her idea. I really love how it came out. Kinda that twisted side of lolita. Also, this was shot in her garage, not a studio. Booyaka~!
Make-up was done by Hayley Martindale. That girl is amazing, I absolutely adore how she does make-up. We did three different looks for this photoshoot, and this was the last of the three. She also was a huge help in just assisting me and Julia throughout the photoshoot, which was super awesome of her~!
Kim Sophia did my nails, and they are soooo cute! Hopefully I'll upload a better photo later where you can see them. Deco ftw! <3
Cassie Ortego and Margaret Dierks, two of my best friends, helped assist during and before the photoshoot. Awesome pictures take a team effort!
Wardobe, styling, and the wig was done by me. The dress was a Christmas present from my twinnie, and was the inspiration for the photoshoot. I've wanted to get into sweet lolita for the longest time, but let's be honest, lolitas can be scary, haha! I wanna make sure I'm doing it right before I wear anything to a convention or what-have-you.
So there you have it! I look forward to showing you guys more from this shoot, as well as the others I have done recently and am still waiting on photos for. Have a good one! <3
