Less than a year after the BNSF merger, unpatched, unrenumbered Burlington Northern GP10 1403 (ex-BN GP7 1546, nee-GN 646) and GP38-2 2337 (ex-SLSF 666, to BNSF 2337) were waiting for clearance to enter the Williston, North Dakota yard with an eastbound local on September 8, 1997.
