Description

A weapon forged in the land of Mordor, this broadsword was wielded by the ancient and powerful Nazgul, known as the Witch-King of Angmar. Unlike the other 8 Nazgul, who wielded a long sword of black steel, the Witch-King's was much more distinguished, as it consisted of a curved crossguard and double-edged blade, compared to the spike-like blade of his fellow Nazgul. It's also believed that there was fellmagic made into the sword, as he could wield it with it's power as well. One perfect example came in a deleted scene from Return of the King, where he brandished it against Gandalf The White and it was powerful enough to destroy the wizard's staff. He wielded this weapon until he met his demise at the hands of Éowyn and the Hobbit, Meriadoc Brandybuck.
