Anyway, this is an old sketch gallery of that I did for Droop-a-Long, back when I was practicing drawing characters in different poses and expressions. This isn't my only sketch gallery of Droop--I have another one that's entirely in pencil, but when I took the picture it came out wrong, so I'll have to retake it on a later date. But although my drawing skills have improved since I've drawn this, I like the colors and I like how close to the original cartoon it looks.

Oh, and all that writing on the bottom was a reference for Droop-a-Long's personality in the "Blazin' Trails" universe--pretty outdated, though. Here's what it says:

"Droop-a-Long's lucky that he's a lovable guy...because with his clumsiness, slow-moving nature and his naivete, he's not exactly the first choice one would have as a deputy sheriff. Being the polar opposite of Ricochet is both a blessing and a curse-while he's one to remain coolheaded in a situation, his slowness sometimes leads to trouble on his end, as not many think he can be a good sheriff. However, Droop-a-Long has shown surprising insight on matters, as well as a mischievous, even playful streak on occasion. And when he gets angry, watch out!"
