Happy New Year, folks! One of my New Year's resolutions is to start drawing a lot more than I did last time, so I should be updating more stuff...

This picture came about last summer, when I was explaining to my mom what Jumping the Shark meant (basically, it means when changes are made to a show that can cause it to lose fans and support). One of the examples they had on there was having a show radically change its mood, going from happy and cute to dark and edgy in a matter of episodes. As a joke I said it would be like if they took Wubbzy and threw it into the world of Ninja Gaiden (a beat 'em up action game my dad loves playing), and then my mom said that I should eventually draw Wuubzy as the main character from the game, Ryu Hayabusa. I had a little trouble at first choosing a good pose for him, but I eventually based it off of the remake they did for the Xbox.

I really like how this turned out. Seeing Wubbzy like this almost inspired me to do a story based on it. As I've never played the game, though, I'd have to wait on that. Besides, I'd like to finish Future of Wuzzleburg FIRST before I attempt to do another Wubbzy story. The only problem I had was drawing the metal on his helmet, and making sure that his legs weren't too long. Other than that, I think this is cute.

I might do another Wubbzy crossover drawing based on BlazBlue, another game I've recently started looking at. I've already figured out who I'm going to draw.
