anyway new OC Fade

Fade's World

fade comes from a world where a new drug called the immortality seed was created. the immortality seed allowed it's users to become immune to all diseases and live for a lot longer. usually the users would be given the drug at eighteen and age one year for every ten years that pass.

however only 25% of the population were receptive to the drug. these people came to be known as the people. since longer life spans meant more time to perfect their trades and crafts the longer living population soon started building vast technologically advance cities populate by just their kind. another drug was also developed that stops the effects of ageing on the mind, body and appearance.

soon the world split into five groups. The blessed - rare people who with the help of the drug age 1 year to every 100 that pass. The people - those whose bodies can accept the drug. The Kept - those whose bodies cannot accept the drug and work in service to The People and The Blessed. The Others/The Free - those whose bodies cannot accept the drug and decide not to live in service of The Blessed and The people, instead they built small communities of their own. Finally The Wanderers - those whose bodies cannot accept the drug and travel from city to city doing menial repair jobs, they also are the only ones with knowledge of how to fix the vast airships and guard this information jealously.

Fade's Story

Fade is one of The Kept and works at a small laboratory inside a People's City called Mirari. he works as an assistant to a researcher called Doctor Jonathan Barker, an old Doctor approaching the end of his life cycle. He first started working with him at the age of thirteen.

Fade has always dreamed of being pilot and graduating from the Aviation Mirari Academy. However no one of his class can be accepted into the academy unless they show exceptional skill and intelligence. Doctor Barker learned of Fade's intelligence soon after he the boy started working for him. Once he learned of Fade's dream he was intrigued by the idea of helping a Kept become a pilot.
