-**Pokédex Entries-**There have been speculations that these pokemon are related to both Tauros and Miltank, sharing a common ancestor. Whereas Miltank have been domesticated and Tauros are mainly wild, Bovoyant are sometimes seen in the wild in large herds, but are often also tamed and used as beasts of burden. Female Bovoyant are sometimes kept for their milk, but they are less popular than their calmer Miltank counterpart.

These pokémon channel their psychic powers through their horns; each horn has a specific frequency, creating positive interfearence. If one horn is removed, their powers greatly diminish. When they are kept as livestock, it is common to remove their horns when young to prevent them from being able to attack as easily; necessary due to how agressive the males are, and how protective females are of their young.

-Trivia-

They are based on cows and bovines in general. The psychic type and the yellow circles between the horns reference Apis, a sacred bull in acient egyptian mythology. The different colors reference how in media, it seems like bulls are usually portrayed using dark colors (possibly due to how Spanish fighting bulls are commonly black?) while cows are usually lighter in color or with piebald markings.

The name is a combination of "Bovine" and "Clairvoyant".
