Originally introduced to "Warhammer Fantasy" by Jes Goodwin in 1986, the Skaven are the only Warhammer race that can rival the Dwarves in terms of technological inventiveness. With crystal-powered weapons and vehicles the Skaven were the original "sci-fi" characters of "Warhammer Fantasy" who continued their existence through "Warhammer Age of Sigmar".
