I figured that I had to do another pic of Lucario, since I like him so much.
OMG! Of all the pictures I've ever drawn, this one has given me the most distortion problems. First, I noticed that his torso was too long. Then I noticed that his right shoulder was place too far off. Then I noticed that his right leg was too long. Then I noticed that his mouth looked wrong (yes, it still looks wrong, but I tried my best to fix it). Then I noticed that his ears were too long and thin. And finally I see that his left foot didn't look right (yeah, it still doesn't look right, but trust me, it looks a heck of alot better than it did before). Plus, his right eye is still a little too small.
Anyway, I still suck at drawing backgrounds. I tried my best to draw the edge of the Spear Pillar stage in Brawl.
Quite apart from the distortions, I am very proud of this piece. I'd say that he almost looks exactly like his Brawl counterpart. And that aura sphere, it took me awhile to figure out a way how to do it, I ended up going between Photoshop and GIMP to get the effects I wanted. But wouldn't you believe this: I only just started coloring him this morning (and today was a full school day for me).
Anyway, here is Lucario of Pokemon and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. A quick summary of him -
Mei Ling: "You're fighting Lucario, aren't you, Snake?"
Snake: "Mei Ling, what's that purple fire coming out of his hands?"
Mei Ling: "That's his 'Aura.'"
Snake: "Aura?"
Mei Ling: "I guess you could call it his life force. Lucario can use his own Aura and turn it into power. Every time Lucario's damage increases, his aura gains strength, making his attacks more powerful. So don't think you've got him beat just because his health is down."
Snake: "The cornered rat will bite the cat... Sounds like trouble."
Mei Ling: "Hey! When did you become so good with proverbs?!"
Snake: "You must have rubbed off on me."
Mei Ling: "Well, come back in one piece, and I'll teach you all the Chinese proverbs you can handle."

1/3/2011 Edit ~ I finally got sick of how his face looked, so I worked on it a little. I made his mouth the right shape and opened his right eye a little more. Plus I rotated his right shoulder, and moved his right arm so it didn't look so disjointed. I'm still not totally satisfied, but I do think it looks a little better now.
