Shinobu Kocho has always never been the strongest Hashira, but an argument could surely be made for being among the smartest; not letting her lack of physical strength hold her back and instead putting her wits into concocting a plethora of deadly toxins perfectly aimed towards demons of all sorts. All but a particular serpent that was perhaps no demon at all~
Speed was one of her greatest attributes, yet so was her curiosity, this combination led her to draw her blade just a second too late for her eyes would already be drawn to his and that was all she wrote, experiencing a poison of the mind that burned away fear and ate away any doubt. Killing any sense of danger and ruining her self preservation. She’d never known a poison capable of such feats, and she likely never will again… As this poison is not of liquid or powder, but of bright beautiful colors spilling directly into her gaze filling her with not a terrible pain but a ridiculous joy. Bringing her to her knees not out of suffering but of submission. The insect Hashira overjoyed to feel his coils winding around her as she soaked in those lovely spirals, a silly smile growing wider by the second as she’d soon make for a perfectly delectable snack this creature would deeply enjoy. Sweet dreams Shinobu~

On a journey to make art, or have art made of some underrated peril waifus with Kaa and Lamias, and Shinobu is among the top of my list! Love her to death and thought this screen cap fit the scenario well!
