My Bio

I’m a writer and crafter living in the Pacific Northwest with my beloved heartmate and our fuzzie darlings. A playful Borgi (half Border Collie, half Welsh Pembroke Corgi) and two feline sister divas who are related but look so very different. I write poetry, short stories and longer stories covering a wide gamut from erotica to fantasy. I enjoy a plethora of fiber arts and am an avid thread collector.

nearly anything from BBC or food network (currently watch things season at a time as no tv at home) Lie to Me, Big Bang Theory, C.S.I, Beauty & the Beast, Glee

I LOVE BOOKS!! I am a true bibliophile, its a serious compulsion.. I will read anything once. Possibly twice to be sure I did not really loathe it. I love books, hardback, paperback, printed out pages within a folder or binder.

Small sampling: Tanya Huff, Stephen King, Jane Austen, Robin D. Owens, Tom Robbins, Mercedes Lackey, H.P Lovecraft, Yasmine Galenorn, Anne Bishop, and even when she pisses me off Laurel K. Hamilton.

Tools of the Trade

If writing, I grab first for paper and utensil (crayon, pen, pencil) am trying to make nice with my laptop and use her more. If crafting, fabrics, needle and thread!

Other Interests

I am sooo varied! Just ask! :D I love reading, playing various games, rpg's are a passion that is second only to reading and writing. Camping, cooking, baking and crafting my dolls are other pursuits I enjoy.

August... 2024. The Heck?? Time is stardust, time is soup. While the rollercoaster is clicking up a sharp hill I feel wildly good. I'm hoping for a good manic high. So far great! Organizing projects, (crafting & writing) and making plans. Have lists and I'm hopeful some things will get done. Working on a commission for a zoo in a basket. Have a koala request. Presently drafting a pattern.

April nearly did me and mine in... literally and figuratively. This month has been about processing, both what we all went through as individuals (myself, K and R) and as a Triangle, as Friends. I've been journaling in my personal journal nearly every day as well as making notes in other notebooks since before April. So many ideas both for crafts and writing as well as other projects that I need to see manifest in the here and now. I hope to be posting some new artsy things and possibly sharing more words here on DA as well other places (besides personal emails and snail mail!). Thank you to everyone here who has contacted me about crafting

I am terrified and excited. I love what I do… even when that pernicious bratty editor peeks her head up and tells me that what I did was utter crap. Be it a few inked out words jotted down in line at the store,  a section of folded pleated vintage silk that I just spent 45 minutes ruching and tacking down with seed beads and French knots or a few pages I managed to type out in a story. It could be a lovely phrase, a fantastic story or a beautiful swash of stitching. It could be a stunning breath-taking example of the glory that I am capable of crafting.
