Sgt. Colt "Mace" Howards is almost a legend. A longtime member of the Philadelphia Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) division, Mace has devised a wealth of unusual tactics to particular situations. An expert marksman with his laser bazooka and afraid of no man, Mace can often be seen single-highhandedly taking care of hostage situations or other standoffs. He has a vast assortment of state of the art weaponry at his disposal, and has absolutely no qualms about using it. Lucky for him, he knows how, and this knowledge of special weapons got him his job with the C.O.P.S.

A broad jawed and broad shouldered powerhouse, Mace is surprisingly friendly and jovial, as long as you're a fellow officer. He has zero patience for criminals, and will not hesitate to resort to violence to get the word across. Mace does not follow the letter of the law, preferring to get the job done on his terms, but thankfully the results are usually positive and he's a great asset to the team.

He is known for his tactical strategies, his laser "Mazooka," and his a secret love for the femme fatale Nightshade.
