Commission for

This is one of the many commissions that have been in the back-burner for a good while and I haven't had time to work on them up until now. In return, and thanks to this delay, I had a pretty clear idea of what to draw this OC Vampire Pony on. I think drawing vampires should (almost) all the time be related to Gothic architecture and imagery like gargoyles, cathedrals, things like that. Even for the simplest and most mundane of tasks like eating an apple, they will be hanging around next to a gargoyle like it's their backyard garden.

This one, like almost all my other previous pictures, has been another exercise in learning how to light a picture and project the shadows properly. I'm getting there, even I have the feeling I am improving when I compare this to a picture I drew a few months ago.
