ramblings of a wasp

Who are you to say How I should live my life? There’s a hundred thousand Things I’d like to soon try There are far too many wishes Spread out on the desert floor I’ll live each and every day Screaming and seeking for more Every night, I die in my dreams As darkness seeps sweet into me And every morning, I’m someone new With unique desires and personal truths But my biggest wish Is to be as beautiful as you! To be unloving, engaged with indifference Instead of rotting in the waves of limerence A butterfly with stained glass wings Who only cares about the things Personal to them But instead, I Insist my life is on a platter Joyous and dastardly for others I’m attracted to the stench Of your sweat On your sour apple skin You’re a hazy afternoon Drenched In red hot waves of sun Nobody cares About what I think, They only fear The oncoming sting So I sit fervently Waiting, hoping soon That you’ll love me as much As I had loved you! I’m addicted to the quick prick Of your cactus
