Description

the cover to my 2011 convention sketch book. drawn with warm and cool gray copics, then colored digitally. first time trying that.

I only had a day to do the cover before sending it to the printer to make sure I'd have it in time for MegaCon. (hurray for leaving things til the last minute!). I didn't have a concept for the cover...so I just let my mind go blank and let the thoughts creep in. and this is what I ended up with.

I should have these at Megacon for those going, and I'll also have a couple with just blank covers for sketching on. Whatever's left after megacon will be for sale online (if anyone's interested).
