From the 2019 Everett Festival of the Trees

This is a rather special posting. I wanted to use one of my own photos for several reasons. The most obvious, this will be used for my Christmas posting this year. But I really wanted this to be one of my own works for another reason. This is my 1000th new art posting for 2019.

I started realizing this was an obtainable goal several months back. I just thought I would be reaching it a bit closer to Christmas before deciding I didn't want to add to the holiday stress. I don't think I'll have quite this many posted in a year again, especially with Eclipse not allowing an actual count. But not to worry, I've still scores of works from Ric as well as other treasures from my over 40 years in Science fiction / Fantasy / comic / anime fandom. I will likely have more photographs of my own to share too.
